With Flipgrid, you can post a prompt for students to respond to through a video recording. Students can also view and respond to their classmates’ recordings. You can use this free tool to have students explain their thinking in response to a math problem, engage in asynchronous discussions by sharing and responding to ideas, review student reading fluency, and a variety of other ideas.

Watch the Educators: Getting Started with Flipgrid tutorial video.

Try it out! Click on this Flipgrid prompt and click “Record a Response” to respond. Please note: You will need to sign in with a Google account, and you will need to use Google Chrome as the web browser. If you don’t feel comfortable being on video, you can cover your camera and just record audio.

If you're intrigued, try creating your own Flipgrid prompt.
